My family and I drove to New York City. It took 9 hours and a half to get there. We explored a very large mall with a Ferris wheel inside. Next, we visited the Statue of Liberty. It was very dark and windy on that day. My family ate the best pizza ever but I didn’t like it. This road trip is important to me because we went together as a family and squeezed inside one car. It was a long trip but had many great memories with my family. The song by Alicia Keys - New York reminds me of this trip because she talks about New York.
Special Memory with a Friend
OUCHHHHH
The Coco Collective was a fun dance program I joined in grade 7. We learned how to play the drums, choreograph dances, and paint. At the end of the program we got to perform in front of our parents. This is important to me because I learned the dance of a different culture which I found so much fun. I also made new friends and learned how to create my own dance. The Song Pana - Tekno reminds me of this day because it is the song we danced to.
Good Memory with a Family Member
I love that song
When I was 6 years old I took a ballet class. I learned different foot positions and different dance moves. For example, a pirouette and plie. I also performed 3 recitals in front of an audience. This is important to me because I learned another form of dance. I also got to wear a tutu, which was cute. The song The Motion by Drake remind me of this day because it was the song that played in the car on the way home.
Memory with a Teacher
Are you ready to rehearse your lines Briana?
My friend Shannon and I went to a tea party. We played ping pong and pool. The interesting part was when we left the tea party. As I was walking out of the building my arm got stuck in a revolving door. It hurt really bad, but it was hilarious because Shannon was trying to help me but she made it worse. This is important to me because every time I remember this moment I remember how good of a friend Shannon is. The song that reminds me of this day is called You Spin Me Round by Dead or Alive because it was a revolving door.
My sister Kayla and I went on the Scrambler in Center Island. We had so much fun because the scrambler is our favorite ride. We kept going on without a break. They played lots of different songs that we both enjoyed. This is important to me because it is a special memory I have with my sister. Song: Heads Will Roll Yeah Yeah Yeah - Project X. This was the song that was playing each time.
A teacher at my old school helped sign me up for a play. The play was a remake of the movie Grease. She helped me remember my lines so I would do well without looking at the script. This is important to me because she helped to conquer my fear of performing on stage in a play. Song: Grease Lightning This was the song in the play.
