  • I don't know.
  • One day Tom decided to take a short cut, eventually he is approached by the devil to make a deal with him. The devil offers him Pirate Kidd's treasure, which is buried near, in return for his soul.
  • Let's make a deal.
  • What kind of deal..?
  • Tom goes home to think over the deal. He tells his wife about the proposition the Devil made. She then urges Tom to take the deal as it would change their lives, he spites her for not refusing. Therefore, she goes into the woods herself to make the deal but doesn't return.
  • Hoping to get the valuables his wife took, Tom goes in search for her. He then finds her apron in a tree which also held her heart and liver. The Devil came to Tom again asking about the deal, he then said yes now he's a usurer.
  • I have something to tell you.
