Theses flowers are currently going through photosynthesis. Which mean they are also going through cellular respiration. Cellular respiration is when organisms combine oxygen with molecules.
The light-dependent cycle happens in the chloroplast. It collects energy from the sun and breaks down water to make ATP.
Chloroplasts are what make glucose. Just like how the mitochondria makes ATP
Speaking of mitochondria! That´s where the Electron transport chain happens. Well.. it actually happens in the mitochondria´s membrane. The Electron transport chain is what moves electrons from NADH around.
Oh No! It´s starting to get dark. I better hurry this up. We talked about the light-dependent cycle earlier but we didn't talk about light-Independence. Light-independence stores chemical energy from the light-dependent cycle to make glucose.
The last important process is Glycolysis. Glycolysis breaks down glucose. It converts it to pyruvic acid. Wow! It got super dark really fast. I need to get home. I really don´t want to be late for dinner.
