- Sanger Rainsford is a skilled hunter that fell off his yacht. He fell off because he was distracted by the screams and gunshots from a nearby island.

- I have to jump for it!
- He swam for the island and finally made it, he was greeted by two mysterious figures. Their names were Ivan and general Zaroff.

- I swam around the bay to confront you, general Zaroff
- We will fight, the loser will be fed to the hounds!
- Rainsford is so surprised to have been told that general Zaroff, the owner of the island, wants to hunt him as prey. He hunts humans because he thinks hunting animals is to easy.

- Rainsford had a close encounter with his hunter. He escaped narrowly by jumping into the bay.
- Rainsford climbed through the window to general Zaroff's room to end his nightmare. General Zarroff challenged Rainsford to a duel, the winner would live.
- Rainsford won the duel against general Zaroff. He slept peacefully that night.
