- WEEK 2
- The main focus of this week's session was instructional design models.
- We learnt that Instructional design models offer guidelines for structuring pedagogical scenarios effectively in order to achieve instructional goals. It’s an iterative process.
- Some types of instructional models learnt about are: ASSURE, Dale’s Cone of Experiences, SAMRGardner’s Multiple Intelligence, Elton’s modelWelliver’s Model
- Instructional models serve as valuable frameworks for administrators and teachers. They assist administrators in making informed decisions about technology integration, resource allocation and support teacher professional development.
- For teachers, instructional models provide guidance for effective lesson planning, pedagogical approaches, assessment, and differentiation, ultimately enhancing the overall teaching and learning experience with technology.
