- Digger did kill someone but it was not intended however the death of Ben was what resalted. Therefore an innocent kid was killed so Digger should have to serve more time.
- The texts states “Do you understand that you are being charged with murder in the second degree in that you did feloniously and with malice aforethought kill and murder Benjamin DiAngelo?”( page 184)
- Normally if someone got charged with 2nd degree murder they would get a sentence to jail for much longer.
- The text states . “Now, that kind of behavior cannot and will not go unpunished in the state of Maryland. You need to know this. You need to know this for the rest of your life.” (page 204) In the text braydy stats “Nine months. Well, I was relieved, to tell the truth. Nine months was a whole lot better than hearing ‘until you're twenty-one.”
