- Hi my name is ishika and I am with my teacher Mrs richa maam and today we are going to explore the digestive system
- im going to push food down the esophagus.
- We are first going to start off at the mouth which is where the process starts and where all the chewing and breaking down of food takes place.
- Before I forget the Digestive system also can work with the skeletal system because the teeth break down the food which starts the process
- Wait now let me try, Did you know that in an average size of an adult´s stomach the stomach can fit 2 liters of fluid or solid.
- After getting chapati out of the esophagus it is now at the stomach which has acids that break the food down into Chyme
- Now it is at the Small and Large intestine. The job of the small intestine is to chemically digest all of the things that aren´t broken down yet
- After the Chyme goes through the small intestine it goes to the large intestine. The job of the large intestine is to absorbs and maintain all the water the digestive system used.
- the food is out in the form of waste
