- How did I get such a terrible grade on this test. I studied so hard for it. There must be a mistake.
- Tries to Fix The Problem
- Hi professor I was just wondering about my grade on this test. After reviewing it it does not seem like I got the grade I deserve.
- You got the grade you deserved alright. If you look at the top of the page at the direction you will find that you did not do everything I asked of you. There were also some silly mistakes you made here and there.
- Conflict Gets Worse
- I could not get the grade out of my head. What would happen to my semester grade? What would happen to my GPA? What about my chances to Gert into the colleges I want?

- That is not true at all! This is just one little grade and there are ways to bring up your overall grade before the semester ends.
- I feel as if everything I have worked so hard to accomplish has been ruined by this one bad grade

- I went to talk to my counselor about my problem. She told me that I still had some time to bring the grade up and that it is not to big of a deal college wise. If I was really worried I could ask my professor for some extra credit. I began to calm down and think about my options.
- I came home and thought about my situation. I decided to do some deep breathing and get myself focused in order to make the best steps moving forward regarding my grade and my overall academic stance. I eventually calmed down and came to a decision.
- I talked to my professor about some extra credit assignments as well as making some time to go over the test that I did poorly on so there are no unanswered question for me to reminisce about later in the future. He agreed to a couple extra credit assignments and I was hopeful I could get my grade back on track.
