Tekst Storyboardowy

  • It's good to be back in school.
  • UAM or Unified Accelerated Motion means that their velocities change in time at a constant rate.
  • Uniform Accelerated Motion
  • Good morning Grade 12-STEM. For today, we will discuss about Uniformly Accelerated Motion.
  • Good morning Ma'am!
  • Does anyone has an idea about our topic UAM?
  • Yes Mae.
  • Projectile Motion
  • Very good Kenn!
  • Kenn, do you have any about this?
  • So, what you see on the board now is an example of projectile motion.
  • Yes Ma'am, Projectile Motion is a combination of vertical and horizontal motions that are completely independent of each other. Also, the path the projectile follows is called trajectory.
  • Teacher he is playing basketball.
  • Did you know that, when a basketball player jumps in the air to make a shot he can appear to be suspended in mid-air during the high point of the jump. This is a consequence of projectile motion. When an object is thrown in the air it will spend a large percentage of time in the top part of the throw.
  • Teacher, look there's a car.
  • A car can also be an example of UAM. The speed of the car upon starting the engine is less, as it gears up the speed of the angular acceleration of the tires increases, thus accelerating the car. If the speed of the car is accelerated at a constant rate then we will have uniformly accelerated motion.
  • Someday, I want also to learn archery teacher.
  • I know that you can do it Mae. Also, archery can be an example of our topic UAM. Because, when an archer pulls an arrow and releases it in the air at a particular angle, the arrow moves along the x and y-axis simultaneously. This means that the parabolic path taken by the arrow to move forward can be traced easily with the naked eye. Hence, it displays a projectile motion.
