- Yes I do. I remember back when I was in school we got taught that and ever since then I have never forgot about it. I can stay awake and tell ya all about it?

- Ok well the first and most important thing to know is that there are 3 stages to UbD and there are many advantages one of those advantages is it being able to focus curriculum and teaching on the development of students understanding and transfer of what they're learning. Stage One is identifying desired results/learning goal. To think of these you can ask yourself "What is it that I want my students to understand and be able to do?"
- Omg that is too cool! Could you tell me about the other 2 stages now?
- Of course. Now stage 2 is determining assessment evidence/ feedback and assessment. With this stage you are going to need to ask yourself "How will I know that they know what I want them to know?" Now the 3rd stage to wrap all of this up is developing a learning plan/Teaching and learning. With this stage you are going to ask yourself "What do I need to do in the classroom to prepare them for the assessment?" This is stage is the action plan.
