- in 451 BCE they demanded that laws were written down to the twelve tables
- Plebeians continued to protest for more and more rights
- in 367 BCE they demanded that one of the two consuls had to be plebeian
- In 287 BCE plebeians gained the right to pass laws for all roman citizens
- The plebeians refused to cooperate with the state's military levy as a bargaining chip to secede
- The Plebeians were unhappy when the RR was setup because they had no say in making laws
- After the plebeians gained control over future victimization and humiliation they wanted to gain access to the laws in existence
