- According to Greek mythology, Zeus, to take revenge on Prometheus, created a beautiful woman named Pandora who was endowed with all the charms that the gods could provide her.Hermes gave her eloquence while Aphrodite was giving her beauty. Hera gave her the gift that would mark humanity forever, she made her curious
- Prometheus' brother named Epimetheus, accepted the gift from Zeus, including the box which was not to be opened for anything in the world.
- While they were climbing the ladders, Epimetheus thought about the promise he broke to his brother never to accept gifts from the gods, for they were cunning and treacherous.
- Epimetheus accepted her as a companion, accepting at the same time the box that accompanied her, which he hid in a safe place.
