- Prince Hamlet arrives at home after his father's death and his mother's remarriage. His mother has married his uncle Claudius. One night after a party, hamlet sees the ghost of his father, King Hamlet. His father tells him he was murdered by Claudius and Hamlet decides to get revenge. Hamlet also decides to act crazy.
- Claudius and Polonius decide that the reason that Hamlet is acting crazy is because he is in love with Ophelia, Polonius's daughter. They arrange a meeting and Hamlet tells Ophelia to become a nun. Ophelia gets upset.
- Some actors come to the kingdom and Hamlet asks them to preform a scene he created. The scene is supposed to make Claudius upset. The plan works and Hamlet decides to kill claudius.
- Claudius is praying so Hamlet instead goes to his mother's room. Polonius is hiding behind a curtain and hamlet stabs him, thinking it's Claudius. Hamlet hides Polonius's body under the stairs and gets sent to england.
- Ophelia is so upset about her father's death that she goes insane. Laertes, Ophelia's brother, comes home from university and tries to get revenge on Claudius, thinking claudius was the one that killed Polonius. Ophelia drowns and Hamlet comes home from england.
- Claudius tells Laertes that Hamlet killed Polonius and the two of the decide to kill Hamlet. They poison a sword and a drink and Laertes challenges Hamlet to a dual. The queen, Queen Gertrude, drinks the poison and dies and then hamlet nicks Laertes with the poison sword. Laertes nicks hamlet and then they apologize to each other before Laertes dies. Hamlet stabs Claudius and makes him drink the poison, killing him. Hamlet names Prince Fortinbras as king and then dies..
