- There was once a king named Achav. He ruled over Israel, but hated Hashem, and was very evil
- Hashem is bad!
- Though he had everything, he really wanted a vineyard owned by Navot
- After Navot was killed, Achav went to go get his vineyard, but met Eliyahu HaNavi there.
- NO!
- GIVE ME YOUR VINEYARD
- Achav went home depressed, but his wife saw him and had a plan to get the vineyard.
- Lets get rid of Navot once and for all
- She ordered some corrupt elders to hold a fast. On fasts, the elders would sit at a table and judge Jews. They summoned Navot, then accused him of "blessing" Hashem. (This really means cursing) This was a horrible crime that is punished with death.
- PRAISER OF HASHEM!!
- Huh. Yea right
- Just like dogs are licking Navot's blood, when you die, dogs will lick your blood. YOU AND YOUR HOUSE WILL BE DESTROYED
- Achav refused to listen to Eliyahu. Later, he went to war, and got a fatal wound. After bleeding to death in the bottom of his chariot, dogs came to lick his blood. Just like Eliyahu prophesied
