- after they finished playing chess Herbert asked if they could take the monkeys paw since the sargent had already used up his three wishes.

- the sergeant Herbert the monkeys paw and they were very exited to wish.but the sergeant didn't think it was a good idea.

- I have a good idea!! lets wish for Herbert to come alive
- Herberts father thought the monkey paw story was a fairy tale so he wished for 200 pounds to see if it was true

- don't open the door!!!
- a while latter someone came knocking on there door and told Herberts parents that Herbert fell into a machine and died and in return for them not suing they would get 200 pounds
- later that night herbetrs mother thought of and idea too wish for Herberts to come back alive with the second wish on the monkey paw. she didn't know that when he came back he would come back shredded
- after his mother wished for Herbert to come back there was loud knock on their door that kept getting louder and louder.Herberts father tried to find the monkeys paw and wish for Herbert to not come back he wished and the knocking stopped
- Herbert im coming!!
