- Setting- 1727: BostonTom and his wife are constantly arguing about money problems in their jobs. They are stealing things from each other. They're also very greedy with their money.
- Climax
- Setting- Old Indian FortWhile Tom takes a shortcut home, he meets the devil.
- Falling Action
- Setting- Inside Toms houseTom is thinking about the deal but never follows through. His wife proceeds to go to the forest to find the devil and make the deal herself but she disappears. Tom then makes the pact deal with the devil and becomes very wealthy within his money.
- Setting- Old Indian Fort Tom changes his destiny and makes a deal with the devil. And becomes very rich. He will then regret his decision later on down the road.
- Setting- Church in BostonTom regrets the deal he made with the devil and tries to repent by reading the Bible and attending church. Although, his decision can not be undone.
- Setting- BostonThe devil came for Toms soul and dragged his to Hell with him.
