  • Rome is located in Itly. Most of the area includes islands ad peninsulas in southern Europe. There is the Italian peninsula that looks like a boot going into the mediation sea.

  • Romulus and Remus is an old folk tale the Romans used to tell. In The story two babies are born Romulus and Remus there mom is the princess and their uncle was the king. The king was afraid that they would grow up to take his throne. so they were sent to drown in the Tiber river but as they were floating down the river she found them and raised them the years later they had a fight and Romulus killed his brother and founded Rome.
  • Greek Influence of Architecture on the Roman Civilization
  • The Romans had a big influence of Etruscan engeenirg. The most important ones were the arch and the cuniculus. You can see these influences on the Roman Coliseum.but they were also used on other things such as huge public works, including bridges, stadiums, and aqueducts to carry water over long distances.

  • The Romans adopted two bloody Estruction sporting events. The first one they adopted was slave fighting. The slaves would stage fights at the funreul of the master to the one of the save the other killed the other. then the winner would be congratulated and killed too. and they also adopted chariot races.
  • The Romans adopted temples for homes for their gods. they used greek designs in their own public buildings as well. They also adopted concrete and coliseums from the greeks.
  • The Greek alphabet was adopted and changed by the Etruscans and then the Romans took it and changed it again. They adopted some designs of pottery and painting from the Greeks and Etruscans. They also adopted painting from the greeks.
