- There are barely any fruit or nuts anywhere! We're going to die out!
- How are we gonna tell the village?
- We can't find any meat to kill! What are we going to do!?
- Meanwhile...
- We'll have to rely on the gatherers!
- Back in the caves...
- They need some help.
- We have a problem! The gatherers can't find any nuts or berries!
- The hunters can't find anything either! Our people will starve!We have to do something!
- First, there is farming. I heard that you are short on food and going to starve, but if you farm, you will have more than enough food!
- Hi! I'm the leader of a local village nearby! There are a lot of perks to working in a village, and it's a lot more efficient than hunting and gathering.
- If the village farms successfully, then we will have a surplus of supplies and have enough food for next year. That means we can have people do other jobs. This leads to job specialization.
- Job specialization happens when a village have enough food and is able to have people work on other stuff. They could be artists, or tool makers, or whatever would benefit the village.
