- Last day of sophomore year, everyone was pretty much ready for summer especially me, it was a pretty tough year, lots of classes and late nights studying. I just wanted to sleep in everyday for the next foreseeable month or two.
- So for only the next week and a half or so I just slept in bed all I wanted but I felt lazy so I decided to get a job.
- So as a part of my job search one of the numerous places I applied to a restaurant in my town, While I came to pick up an application I met the owner by accident who was very intimidating and also talked to the manager who was even worse.
- I ended up getting the job, and all my coworkers were very welcoming and although some were kinda stereotypical towards me and ignorant but, I think they meant well.
- You're so exotic! Can you speak Egyptian?
- The workplace environment wasn't terrible per say, but under times of pressure and weekends when it gets very busy, least to say it can get stressful with what seems like a thousand jobs to do.
- RUNNERS NOW WE NEED RUNNERS
- Didn't I tell you to make sure the tables were clean enough?
- Hey seat the new guests. Dont forget about the floor plan and the server rotation.
- Okay well I'm leaving you can do the rest!
- Then randomly my dad wanted to go to Lake Tahoe for like two days while my mom was in New Jersey visiting family.
- My sister: do we have to? Can you just leave me home??
- I mean sure, as long as I don't miss my shift.
- Hey, lets go to Lake Tahoe and we can just come back the night before your work!
