- The Panama Canal was completed on August 15, 1914. It took 32 years of construction and unfortunately around 28,000 worker deaths before the 51 mile long canal could be completed.
- The Panama Canal works by an artificial lake basically step laddering the boats to its destination. It opened doors to more efficient and a wider variable of trade amongst different countries.
