- Fagin said to Olvier that he can go out with Dodger. Dodger went behind an old man looking at a bookshop and stole a handkerchief, then he started running and Oliver thought that Fagin and the boys are thieves and started running too but Oliver gets caught by a policeman, but a man who works at the bookshop protected Oliver and said that the thief is another person. When Fagin noticed that Oliver got caught he got angry and said that they must find Oliver before Oliver tells about Fagin and the others.
- Oliver was weak and ill at Mr. Brownlow's home, Mr. Brownlow is a kind old man and took care of Oliver. When Oliver woke up he told "thanks you" to Mr Brown.Many weeks passed and Oliver was better. Mr. Brownlow and Mrs. Bedwin loved Oliver and asked to Oliver if he wanted to live there, and Oliver said yes. One day, Oliver walked into a small dark street and found Nancy and Bill Sikes, Oliver exclaimed for help but Bill Sikes pulled Oliver all the way to Fagin's house. Mr. Brownlow and Mrs. Bedwin thought that something bad happened to Oliver.
