- So after the french and indian war the british realized they were in A LOT of debt so they went to the colonies to ask for some money. There excuse was that they were technachy fighting for the colonies therefore they should pay it forward but the colonies straight out said NO so the british raised the taxes

- So King george announce that to prevent the Indians from attacking ¨No Colonial Settlers Will Be Allowed To Cross The Appalachian Mountains into Indian Territory and Shall Not be Bother On The Western Side Of The Mountains¨ This made The Colonist very anger and some of them had already settle on the West side so they had to move East

- In 1765 there was the stamp act so when ever you buy paper goods there would be a stamp added so the colonist started to boycott.Also the colonist were already angry because before this point the colonist could rule for themselves but now the British were taking over and on top of that he didn't have anyone to represent them so they protested
- So before this point all the taxes had been taken up because the boycotting worked but there was one tax that remained and it was for tea so to get rid of it, In 1773 the sons of liberty disguised themselves as Native americans they got on a ship and nearly 10,00 pounds of tea were thrown in the water after this the british punished Massachusetts
