Because britian was to busy with the seven year war to control what america was .doing, they were in a state of salutary neglect, which allowed america to grow as a young country.
the Revolutionary war begun
because of how costly the seven year war was, Britian was in severe debt and needed a way to get out of it, so they decided to take control of america and start taxing all of their merchnadise, also known as the tax act.
the declaration of indepence is created
a group of americans that were angry about the tax act decided to dump tea from britian into the boston harbor. They did this bby dressing as native americans so that they wouldnt be caught.
in response to americas revolt, the revolutionary war begun, in which america finally became free from the british.
after America won the revoluntionary war, they decided that they needed a contract that defined what rights american citizens had, they then created what we know now as the declaration of indepence, which we still use to define our rights as american citizens today
