- On page 56 it says ¨a panic was rising in me as I listened to Johnny's quiet voice go on and on. Johnny! I nearly screamed. What are we gonna do? They put you in the electric chair for, killing people! I was shaking. I want a cigarette. I want a cigeratewe had smoked our last pack. I'm scared, Johnny. What are we gonna do?This is importnat because after this happened they had a whole different life of living in the church and being gilty of murder.
- On page 86 it says ¨He was in critical condition. His back had been broken when that piece of timberfell on him. He was in severe shock and suffering from third-degree burns. They weredoing everything they could to ease the pain, although since his back was broken hecouldn't even feel the burns below his waist.This is important because when johnny dies all of the greasers are sad and lost one of there buddies.¨
