- Frederick was living happy life as magma, but everything changed when his volcano erupted
- Frederick erupted out of his magma chamber and immediately cooled into igneous rock
- Frederick sat there for years, more and more land building up on top of him. Eventually Frederick couldn't handle the pressure and heat anymore, and he turned into a metamorphic rock
- As the ground above and around Frederick started to crumble and weather from the water, so did he. He was now small bits of rock called sediment
- But Frederick had more and more rocks fall on top of him, and he was eventually compacted into a Sedimentary rock. He wondered if he would ever be magma again
- Frederick melted back into magma as he went further underground. He was finally happy again!
