Rome is located in Italy and is on a peninsula.The peninsula is shaped like a big boot.The peninsula also stretches all the way to the Mediterranean Sea.
The Etruscan influence of Sports on the Romans
While Romulus and Remus grew up they were twins.When they were sleeping on night someone sent people to kill them.While they were trying to kill them they threw them onto a river.Later that same day they were saved by a wolf.Then when they grew up they argued over a city name then Romulus killed his brother.
The Greek Influence of Architecture on the Romans
During the Roman age the Romans copied some cultures.The biggest one was the Etruscan's. The Romans copied a lot of stuff from them.One of them is engineering.The Romans copied there engineering and one of it was arches.The Romans later used arches for entrances to there coliseum.
The Greek Influence of Writing, Art, and Religion on the Romans
The same thing with engineering the Romans had Etruscan like sports.One of their sports was chariot racing.The next one is slave fighting.The other one was they would fill the Colosseum with water an they would have naval battles,the final one was gladiators and that was the main part.
The Romans had adapted some of the things that Greeks used.One of them was temples and/or monuments.They used these temples to be like the Greeks.The Romans later were inspired by their temples that they built a coliseum.
Both the Etruscan's and the Romans admired Greek pottery.The type of pottery that the Greeks did was they put animals on there pots or people.Sometimes on the pot they put gods on the pots.
