  • This is my garden and here, I will demonstrate on how does plant reproduce
  • Plant reproduction is the production of new offspring in plants, which can be accomplished by sexual or asexual reproduction but today, we are only going to discuss about sexual reproduction
  • So before we start, I will tell you what is reproduction in plants.
  • Flowers is a part of a plant that can produce sexually, so how does flowers reproduce sexually? WellThey produce male sex cells and female sex cells. These cells must meet for reproduction to begin, a process called pollination.
  • The parts of the flower that participate on this process are Sepals, Petals, Stamens,Anthers, Stigma and Ovary
  • The functions of each reproductive organ are:Sepals-Sepals is a defensive organ that encloses and protects the developing reproductive structures.Stamens-Stamen is the part of the flower that produces pollen.
  • Anther- Anthers produces and disperse pollens. Stigma- Stigma is the female part of the flower which collects pollen grains. Ovary-Produces the female egg cells Pistils- To produce ovule
  • All those functions play a role in  the sexual reproduction of a flower to produce flowers. Now I will going to talk about pollinators and how they flowers with the reproduction process
  •  A pollinator is the one who helps carry pollen from the male part of the flower to the female part of the same or another flower.An example of a pollinator is a bee and a butterfly.
