- The president is the highest-ranking man in the military. So he can basically approve and control everything they do and plan.

- The president has the power to veto(Deny) a bill even after congress approved it.

- The president has the power to make executive decisions (direct authority over all others). Although this does not permit the president to be above the law. This power also cannot infringe on Congress's power besides making a veto.
- Enforcing the laws set by congress
- When bad, confusing, or sad events happen then the president usually addresses the people and the situation. Usually to calm people down or give them a little comfort.
- Hello America. If we stick together we can get through this.
- When a threat or important information arrives it is usually shared with the president and he discusses the matter.
