- This is king Charles I, and his castle. He was killed because he was a terrible king and did not work with parliament. He thought that divine right was true and should not be questioned. After his demise parliament ruled England.
- King Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, Maximilien Robespierre, and Napoleon Bonaparte, what do they all have in common, they all had the title of ruler, or they were the leader of a committee that ruled. They were all killed or exiled because the people didn't want them to be in charge anymore. King Louis the XVI thought divine right was true and thought that he could do anything he wanted for his people. Maximilien Robespierre and Napoleon Bonaparte didn't think that divine right was true so there for Maximilien Robespierre was in control of the committee of public safety, and Napoleon said that a king should not be in charge because of birthright but because of his qualifications.
- Back in this time period the people in France had to pay 50% of their income to taxes while the other two estates didn't have to pay anything, and people in England had to deal with a king who would not listen to parliament, house of commons, or house of lords.
