- Ugh, I have this assignment for dognology but i'm so confused about how a computer displays text. It just doesn't make sense!!! Can you help me?
- So when I press a letter on the keyboard, it delivers a signal like when you need to deliver someone's mail. Makes sense!
- This a post office. When you press a letter on your computer keyboard it exactly like putting a letter in the mailbox.
- Wow I had no idea it took so much work to just type one letter! That means that every letter has its own binary code, I get it now!
- Next step is when mail is given an address. like mail, each letter has its own binary code with ones and zeros, this helps the computer show the correct letter just like an address tells the mails man the correct destination to deliver a package to!
- Wow, that seems like a simple concept but really it must be so hard for a computer to manage all that! I wonder how it does that!
- Once the computer recognises the letter it then appears onto the screen. just like when mail is delivered to your house! Just like that!
- This all happens so quickly compared to delivering a package! It takes half a millisecond to type but a package takes a day or even more to deliver!
- The delivery company should up their game eventually computers are going to do their job!
