- Build up
- Here, take this ball of string
- With the understanding that 7 boys and 7 girls would be eaten by the Minotaur, King Aegeus of Athens struck a pact with King Minos of Crete to forgo attacking Athens for a period of nine years.
- The Labyrinth
- There were 9 years. Aegeus's son, Prince Theseus, aspired to join the group of 7 lads traveling to Crete in order to fight the Minotaur.If he succeeds, he promises to remove the black sails and replace them with white ones.
- The Betrayal
- Sailing to Crete are the 7 lads and 7 girls.When Princess Ariadne encounters Prince Theseus, she develops feelings for him. She offers to help him if he takes her with him to be his wife by giving him a ball of string to guide him out of the labyrinth.
- The End
- The Minotaur, a half-man, half-bull companion who resides in a labyrinth from which no one has ever emerged, is King Mino's pet. With the aid of his sword and some thread, Prince Theseus defeats the Minotaur and makes his way back to the other kids. And with the Princess in tow, they go.
- He doesn't want to marry Princess Ariadne, so they stop on an island and leave her there.
- Gods' wrath is evident.King Aegeus sees the dark sails and assumes his son has passed away; as a result, he dives off the cliffs and into the water.
