- Rainsford heard a gunshot and he tried to lean upon the rail but he lost his balance and he fall down the boat.
- Climax
- Kill Him!
- Rainsford lands on an island after he accidentally jumped off his ship. He meets General Zaroff and they talk about hunting. General Zaroff described his most dangerous game. He wanted to hunt with Rainsford. But Rainsford disagreed, so he decided to play the most dangerous game (or hunt him) with Rainsford.
- Falling Action
- Zaroff decides to give Rainsford 3 days to survive him, if he does Rainsford wins. So the 3-day hunt begins and Rainsford starts putting traps for Zaroff. But Zaroff doesn't fall into any of the traps.
- Resolution
- In the Climax, Rainsford jumps into the ocean to avoid getting killed by Zaroff and a pack of his hounds.
- Zaroff thinks Rainsford has died. But Rainsford has actually survived the jump and swam to Zaroff's house. He climbed up to his room and Zaroff got shocked and he was scared. He said, " I can congratulate you" "You have won the game" in a way that will make Rainsford won't kill him. But Rainsford does kill Zaroff and sleep in his bed.
- I am still a beast at bay
- I can congratulate you. You have won the game
- After killing Zaroff, Rainsford has the best sleep of his life. As he said " I have never slept in a better bed".
- I have never slept in a better bed.
