- Hey! My name is Wilma, and I am a water droplet. I am going to take you on the adventure of my life.
- You can't see me right now because the sun has heated me up, and I have evaporated into the atmosphere. Evaporation is the process by which liquid water transofrms into a vapor. This is the first part of my adventure.
- After I evaporate into the atomsphere, I start to condense. When the air cools, water vapor (me) condenses into tiny droplets, forming a liquid. This process is called condensation, and is the second part of my adventure.
- When I grow large enough, gravity will pull me down. This is when it starts to rain, snow, sleet or hail. This adventure is the third part, and is called precipitation, which is any liquid or frozen water that forms in the atomsphere and falls to the earth.
- Sometimes the soil can't hold all the water, so the excess water will flow across the surface as runoff. Runoff can then lead into rivers, lakes and oceans. This is the fourth, and last adventure.
- All the adventures have been completed now so I guess it is time to say bye. I hope you had a wonderful time.
