- One of the main reasons of Germany's surrender was because of the Soviets allies. As the Soviets were most likely on the road to losing the war, they needed a boost for the war to switch its roles. This counter switch was america. America entered the battle and soon after the Soviets were able to get close enough to Hitlers bunker and end the war.
- One of the only reason the US and Russia became allies was to defeat Germany. The us and russia were enemies long before this and even after the war. The working together that was involved between thee too was not wanted but very well needed.
- The Manhattan project was the development of the first nuclear weapons. It was wanted to be the most powerful weapons that could be built at the time. USA built this and wanted to call it the atom bomb. This project was supported by the UK.
- The Hiroshima bomb was the first atomic bomb to be dropped. It was dropped from a B-29 Bomber and killed about 80,000 people. Later through history thousands more would also be killed from radiation. This was a wise desicion but tragic. The idea was to save american and Japanese soldiers and civilians.
- The Nagasaki bomb was the second bomb dropped which was shot into Nagasaki. The idea was to force out an unconditional surrender from Japanese soldiers. This was cause on august, 9 1945. This was wanted to quickly end the war with japan and did certainly that.
- There were many reason that caused japan to surrender. Bombings were occuring way to often and taking out to many people on japans side. The obvious reason is that Japan was not strong enough to fight against the US. USA gave japan no other choice but to surrender.
