- An attacker shot at some students on the 2nd floor. We need your help verifying the validity of the report.
- So, what happened here?

- The witness said that the attacker was around 50 meters away from the school. He shot at the 2nd floor which is 20 meters high at a 45 degree angle.
- Looks like the footprints here are 50 meters away from the building. That must mean the shooter was 50 meters away when he shot at the school.
- Now, we just have to verify the angle the attacker shot at.
- Since we know that the attacker shot at a target 20 meters high from 50 meters away, we can get the angle using Trigonometry. tan(x)=20/50 where x is the angle that the attacker shot from. That means x is equal to 22. The shooter must have shot from a 22 degree angle.
- That must mean the original report from the witness was incorrect.
- I didn't do anything special. It was just simple math.
