Hey guys when are we having a meeting with regards to our benefits? I mean it's been long, we haven't heard anything from him.
Haibo1 We've been permanently employed for two years now.
I did call Miss Cindy - the Trade Union Organizer about this issues, she advised us to first have a meeting with our boss.
The employees are in the printing room as they discuss how they have not been receiving employee benefits after their 12 - month contract.
Good day sir, we are here about not receiving employee benefits, and it's been two years now after our 12-month internship. since 2019 we signed a permanent contract, and we should be receiving employee benefits like the senior staff.
To add on what Johanne said sir, as permanently employed employees we are entitled to employee benefits, especially if we were working here for more than 2 years. We should getting benefits like provident, uif and other benefits. you are providing these benefits only to the senior employes who have been working here for more than five years, which is unlawful.
After 12 months, they were all permanently employed, as they signed the contract stating they should be receiving employee benefits. Its been two years now, and their manager is aware.
As a company we faced many loses, financially, in the past few months due to this COVID-19 issue so we can not accommodate all the benefits to you all, as we are cutting budget, to only pay your salaries.
Branden, one of the employees called Miss Cindy, the Trade Union Organizer about their grievances. She advised them to have a meeting with their manager firstly, to avoid any conflicts.
I understand your grievances but as a company , there is nothing we can do at this moment, as we faced lots of loses, including money and clients.
We signed our contracts before 2020 and we have been waiting for two years with no benefits. so, we really don't understand.
The employees are in a mini meeting with their manager, as advised by Cindy(trade union organizer) to voice their complaints.
In a meeting.
The employees are not happy with Mr Smith's responses.
