- Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president, as a republican, he strongly opposed slavery. During his presidency, ten southern states seceded, Lincoln later on abolished slavery.
- Population
- Hear all!, Anyone who wants to fight for us may join forces with our military!
- Grant was a United states general when the Civil war took place, and was the face of victory for Americans against the confederates. After serving, he rightfully served as the 18th president.
- Disadvantage

- The Anaconda plan was presented by Winfield Scott, and executed by the US, in order to stop trade for the Confederacy. This also helped capture major cities in the south, in the end capturing their capital.
- Advantage
- The north had double the population the south had. The amount of population they had worked for them in their favor because there were more people joining the military.
- The north had factories, however there were few farms, most of their food and clothing came from the south. Meaning that if they had no farm land they had no food, or cotton for clothing items.
- I don't suppose we can give up now, I'm fatigued and hungry.
- There were more railroads in the North than there were in the south. If there were more railroads that would mean more and faster transportation for weapons to be moved around.
