- After reading Agrippa's book, Victor wanted to be godlike in science. He wanted to learn and experience everything there was to know about the human frame and the corruption of the human body. He was arrogant but extremely intelligent; however, his arrogance led him to make life changing decisions for the worse.
- Hubris
- Victor Frankenstein messed up big time when he decided to make life. He went against nature and made a monster from dead people's body parts. This decision didn't just affect him, but the people he was close to.

- AnagnorisisVictor came home only to find his little brother dead. At the scene, he saw the monster there, which could only mean that the monster he created killed his brother. After realizing this, he truly feels the extent of his decision. He is devastated and feels guilty.
