Gender inequality takes place in Afghanistan , Syria , South Sudan , Democratic Republic of Congo , Chad , Sudan , Sierra Leone , Somalia , central african republic and pakistan . It is sad to know that gender inequality takes place in 10 countries around the globe , this proves that people still believe in what society says.

There are various impacts of gender inequality such as a very low employment rate for women but when it comes to men the rate is almost of 100 % . According to research , women have a low employment rate because companies think that women are meant to do house hold chores and have children rather then getting educated and getting a job .

Another impact of gender inequality is that in Sudan there is a law which resticts women from what they wear , where they can go and what women can do for work . This discrimination is infuriating as women should not be treated like prisoners , they should be allowed to wear what they want , to go where they want and to work anywhere they desire . This takes away basic human rights .
