Storyboard Tekst

  • Banquo: (to himself) it's your now. Everything, just as the weird women promised: and I'm afraid you played a vile game to get it. Yet they said your children wouldn't succeed, but that I myself would be the father of a line of kings. If they speak the truth - as they did in your case, Macbeth - why shouldn't I hope they'll do the same for me?
  • Yes I am, I am going as far as what will occupy the time between now and supper.
  •
  • Here is our chief guest! Are you riding this afternoon?
  • Ok, otherwise, we'd have sought your good advise at today's Council. It has always been both sound and beneficial. But tomorrow will do. We hear ourmurderous cousins are settled in England and Ireland. They won't confess they killed their father. But we can go into that tomorrow when, amongst other things, we must discussmatters of mutual importance.
  • Macbeth: (to himself) I deeply fear Banquo, his nature is dfaring, but he has wisdom which guides his courage to act in safety. While he's around, I feel constrained. The weird sister like prophets hailed him as the father of a line of kings, instead on my own son succeeding. If that is to be so, I've corrupted my mind for Banquo's children. Rather than the sons of Banquo be kings, I challenge fate to the death.
  • Ross: Everyone rise. His Highness it not well.
  • Lady Macbeth: Sit, good friends. My lord is often like this, and has been since his youth.
  • Macbeth: (To the ghost) Which of you has done this? You cannot say I did it! Don't shake your gory locks at me!
  • Lady Macbeth: Are you a man?(Macbeth)Oh really! This is a fear of your imagination. Shame of you! Why are you making such faces?
  • Macbeth: Yes, a bold one, that dates to look at what might scare the devil.(Lady Macbeth) See there - look! There. (To the ghost) - If you can nod, speak too!
  • Lady Macbeth: Please don't say anything. He gets worse and worse. Question enrage him. Now, goodnight! Go at once.
  • Macbeth: (Seeing the ghost) Stand off, and quit my sight! Back to your brave! Your bones are marrowless, your blood is cold.
