- My puppy, my puppy.
- After getting tired of playing with the other puppies, Ambo asked his brother to lend him his puppy but got rejected.
- Don't touch my puppy!
- Can I pet it?
- The eagerness of Ambo and the continuous rejection of Baldo resulted to a fight. The two hurt each other as they fight. When Baldo held the puppy and Ambo tries to steal it by pulling its tail, the puppy got irritated and bit Ambo's hand.
- Tang Ciaco, father of the two boys, saw the blood of his son's hand dripping from the jaws of the puppy. He went and get a piece of firewood and decided to beat the dog after claiming that it had gone mad. The boys, together with their mother, stood there watching the puppy got beaten to death.
- The dog has gone mad!!!
- *sobs*
- They knew that there is nothing that they can do to stop their father because they, themselves, are afraid of their his wrath. With tears gushing in their eyes, the two brothers gently buried the poor dog at the corner of the field and bid farewell as they went back to their house.
