- Humans can impact the water cycle by building and creating dams which decreases moisture levels in the air causing more heavy rainfall.
- I think the main impact humans cause to the water cycle is burning fossil fuels for energy. Pollutants can mix with water in the air to create acid rain which can turn ponds acidic or kill lots of fish.
- Humans can lessen the impact by changing how we get energy. For example, we are starting to use this method more but humans can use dams to create hydroelectric energy which is a form of renewable energy.
- Trees play a very important role in the water cycle because they have a process called transpiration which allows the trees to pull water up from the ground and release it into the atmosphere as vapor via pores in their leaves.
- Deforestation impacts the water cycle because if trees get removed they can't do their transpiration process which helps out the water cycle balance itself.
