- My dad was furious to find out I had taken his notes. And then, used that information to follow clues that led me to the marina, where I found the car that his witness had described.
- ...Yep, there I was. You know that bright idea I told you about? Well, it ended up getting me locked up in the backseat of a creepy car in the middle of the night.
- Lucky for me, I never left the house unprepared.
- After using my hidden lock pick set, and freeing myself from the car, I made sure to look for the car's license plate number. Then, I headed right to the police station..
- Yeah, he was mad. But not after I handed over the evidence I had collected. It was a pair of scissors that broke the case. I knew as soon as I saw them under the seat of the car that they must be the murder weapon. The lab confirmed my suspicion just a few days later, and the man that locked me in the car was arrested. Not only was he charged with murder, but they added my kidnapping to his list of crimes!
- So, there you have it. That's my story. Ordinary, teenage girl one day, super detective the next.
