  • Before learning about the material in this lesson, my knowledge of anthropology was limited. I only knew the basic definition, that it is the study of humans and how we live/interact. My brain was like an empty parking lot.....
  • Hello...? Anyone..?
  • No way!! There's more?! Wow she really has a lot to say...Wait did she say humans?
  • Then, anthropology herself explained what it really is! She explained that anthropology has many different categories, and it can help us in many more situations than I ever imagined!
  • "What really can define anthropology is it's categories, or it's perspectives, relativistic, empirical, adaptational, comparative, and holistic. We use these to study different cultures to better understand why they interact in the ways they do and how it may be beneficial for them."
  • "Something I find most essential in learning about anthropology is gaining the compassion for others, as you learn about their culture and understand how it works, even it is very different from your own. You humans really need some more of that..."
  • Oui! In many African countries, including my home Cameroon, French is our official language, as we were under French control for many years!
  • Vietnam sounds amazing!
  • Tôi không nói được tiếng Anh.
  • After speaking with Anthropology, I was finally able to understand what it really meant, and my perception of it completely changed. Now that I know more about it, I can talk to many people with different cultures and begin to dive into why anthropology is important to us all!
  • I am from Sweden...
  • Yo vivo en República Dominicana. Debes ser de España! Verdad?
  • Quoi?! You speak French too? Aren't you from Africa?
