- During the Carnaval in Italy, both Montressor and Fortunato and Montressor offers Forunato a bottle of wine (Amontillado). But the wine is in Montressor's cellar, but it is a late night and Fortunato feels sick. So Montressor is trying to play it off so he doesnt seem suspicious.So he doesnt know if he wants no go.
- Climax
- Montressor says that Fortunato has insulted him, and is planning to get revenge on him. So he is inviting him over to shee if he wants to get Amontillado. He feels like what Fortunato has done is unforgiveable.
- Falling Action
- Montressor lures Fortunato down to his cellar. Montressor repeats to Forunato asking if he wants to turn back because he seems very sick. His cough sounds horible when Montressor hears it.
- Resoulution
- When they arive to the cellar, there is no wine, and Montressor luers Forunato into the big whole in the wall. After Montressor starts to seal the wall with bricks. But he doesnt notice until he is almost half way done.
- Fortunato starts to scream for Montressor to stop but Montressor wont. Montressor has started his revenge, and he isnt going to stop now. Not after what Fortunato did to him.
- He is at the ending of building the wall. Montressor walks out of the cellar only hearing the screams of Fortunato.
