- I can't take it anymore! First, I put the Tucks in danger, then I have to stay in jail, and now I'm all alone! Why did is my life so miserable!
- As Winnie grew up, her family started getting sick and dying soon after. Her mother got Pneumonia and died after she wasn’t able to breathe, her father got heart disease and died of a heart attack, and her grandmother had cancer and died because it wasn’t treated early. These events, one by one, replayed themselves over and over again, jabbing her heart each time until she was left on the floor bundled up like a ball, and unfortunately, she was left alone.

- She remembered! Good thing that carving was a trick all along!
- This soul that had once been shielded by love from the Tucks and her parents had finally been shattered. The words that had prevented her from drinking the spring water had receded, and all Winnie wanted was to restart.

- She rushed to the spring and dived in, mouth wide open, and taking in all the water she could drink.

- When Tuck enters the cemetery with Jesse, they notice a little carving on a white, stained pole. It read, “Long live Winifred, may she not be forgotten”. Jesse collapsed onto the ground, trying to comprehend what was going on while Tuck had a faint smile on his face.
- After hearing faint tapping upstairs and a familiar giggle, he went upstairs and saw Winnie kneeling on the floor, glancing back at him! Both of them were surprised to see each other right now in Treegap, especially Jesse, and Winnie gently cleared away the dirt on the floor near her and signaled Jesse to join her.
- Jesse walked to where she had signaled, and they had begun to talk about marriage, their dream house, and just the future life that awaits them.
