- The Ojibwe started their journey by traveling along the St.Lawrence River and made their first stop in Montreal.
- The Ojibwe split into three groups along the way.
- I will continue with the rest of the tribe west.
- Me and my family have decided to stay near the eastern Great Lakes.
- I have decided to settle south. My family has agreed.

- A major stopping point on their journey was at Sault Sainte Marie. They lived their for many years.
- The sixth stop on the long journey was Fond Du Lac. The last stop was Chequamegon Bay.
