Storyboard Tekst

  • Day in the Life of the Roman Empire
  • We had the ability to wear rings, pins, togas, and all of the glorious things. But at night we had to dress like the horrible poor people so we didn't get robbed. The poor wished they were as good as us. We are like a luxury, we don’t even face the same consequences when doing the same bad acts”hahahahahaha”.
  • We have little money to buy good robes and we have no intention of looking important. We have to make sure that no children or women go out at night for no policemen dared to patrol the poor neighborhoods. But yet some of you dress badly and have your children cry in court to gain sympathy.
  • Law and Order
  • : In my household, I work in a well-paid political position. My wife is tasked with hiring and training the slaves. She also carries her own balance and can buy and sell the property. when my wife has babies i decide if it is fit to live a life of a good roman, to sell of into slavery, or to leave for the birds to eat.
  • Well in my household everyone had to work for money so we could provide food and care for all of our children. We might not have the best jobs but it keeps us on our feet so we are all capable of doing something starting at a young age. Most Romans find it strange that Egyptians keep all of their children either way.
  • Education
  • I stay in school till I'm 12-13 but since my dad is very wealthy I can continue with my studies till I'm 16. I can even own my own land and properties because I am a free Roman.
  • Us poor children were sent to work instead of school to get ready for the future and because their parents could not make enough to either support the family or get them into school.
  • Recreation
  • What do you do for fun because we watch plays and performances in our friend’s houses. We sit on cushioned seats with shade covering us.
  • Food and Drink
  • Us wealthy Romans usually ate cheese, bread, porridge, beans, olives, and celery.
  • All we got to eat was pieces of fish, asparagus, and figs for desert.
  • The End
  • Poor vs. Rich Romans
  • Some us (the poor) or the slaves were included with the gladiators game or they would sit on wooden benches high above the track and, watch the entertainment of others. We got bread and circuses to eat while we watched the show.
