- My Thoughts As a future teacher thinking about they ways a parent will do anything for their child makes me want to do anything for their own children. Teacher and parents need to work together for the child to succeed within the classroom. Eliminating limitations for a child and stopping with "you child cant do that or it wont work" should not be a way to approach. Every child is different and with that in mind any child can do anything they set their mind to
- Gina mom stood up for her daughter and despite all these doctors and people saying she cant do something her mother knew her daughter better than anyone from the moment Gina was born.
- As future teachers we should be like Gina pre-k teacher that was kind and caring to Gina and despite her disability her teacher did not limit what Gina was able to do in her life.
- You will do great things. Dont let anyone stop you from your goals
- I wanted to be a teacher to show my students that even if everyone else limits their knowledge and skills I will never tell them they cant do something. A disability should never stop a student from becoming great. My children parents will know about all great things their child has done and I will address any concerns they may have. Like Gina mom I want my students parents to see how I will care and allows their children to grow and glow.

- My Thoughts Teachers should not hide things from a parents but instead try to work with those parents for their child. Like Gina mother she did not limit her daughter success and Gina was able to do great things. If a teacher would have said "no she has SLOS she cant do this or that" and had a parents who agreed Gina would have never been so great but with both supporting adult figures children like Gina will go far
- I cant wait to start teaching I want parents to feel ok leaving their child with me while they go work. Treating these children as if they were my own and meeting their needs and wants is my true goal. Communication is key with parents.
- It may be challenging starting out as a new teacher but we should always think about our children and their parents needs and share our own needs with parents
- Do teachers care like they should when it comes to our children?
- My Thoughts New teachers will have fears and worries but knowing that those little moments that a student accomplished something they didn't know was possible should keep them going and wanting to see what all their students can accomplish when they are not limited to their own skills but able to express their new thoughts and ideas to the class.
