- There was a crow which was very thirsty. It flew here and there in search of water.
- The crow suddenly saw a pitcher nearby.
- It, then, flew to the pitcher to quench its thirst.
- But the crow couldn't drink the water from the pitcher because the water level was very low. The crow saw some pebbles nearby.
- It thought of a plan. It picked up some pebbles one by one and started putting them into the pitcher. The water level started to rise gradually.
- It kept on adding the pebbles into the pitcher until the water rose up very high. It drank the water and flew away after quenching its thirst.
